JENNIFER GUCCI

Soprano Jennifer Gucci has appeared in a wide range of roles calling for a lyric coloratura all over the world. London born, she won early praise singing a variety of parts in Gilbert & Sullivan , and as Maria in West Side Story while still a student at the Guildhall School of Music and later continued her studies with renowned singing teacher Beverley Johnson at the Julliard in New York City. She was fortunate in winning an opportunity to study with the renowned late baritone Gino Becci in Florence Italy. Through her studies with him in Italy Ms. Gucci appeared successfully in several special television productions on Italian Television (RAI).

A versatile recitalist, the lyric coloratura has sung to critical acclaim in both London and New York the songs of Mozart ,Handel, Purcell and the Viennese repertoire. She was also heard as the soprano soloist in the Mozart Great Mass with the Rhode Island Symphony in the USA singing a variety of concert arias with the Hartford Symphony which brought the house down and was critically praised as ¨thoroughly disarming with a pretty coice and an unaffected stage manner¨.
