Our entertainment was Ian Preston. We had originally thought that a band would be best for our crowd but when Sonya supplied us with the list of entertainers we choose Ian for a couple of reasons. He has a website that had loads of videos of his other weddings and entertainment work and we instantly got a good vibe from him. He just came across as a real fun entertainer and we were sold by his Rat Pack routine which would provide us with a band like atmosphere for after the meal and he then changes to his DJ set so we felt like we were getting the best of both worlds!
On the day Ian arrived on time. From the moment he came and introduced himself to us he came across just as we had hoped. He was in his Rat Pack tuxedo and began as MC for the night. He went around each and every table after the meal and spoke to the guests asking what music they liked and taking requests. He then introduced the speeches and the cutting of the cake, then he done his swing set and everybody joined in to dance on the terrace. We danced away until midnight and the atmosphere was amazing! At midnight we all moved down to the Yupi bar and Ian set up as DJ and he really kept the crowd going by playing a lot of the songs we had asked for in advance and his own excellent choices. Ian really impressed us and we were so happy we chose him. All our guests commented on his unique, one man show from the swing set down to the DJ set, he was a complete crowd pleaser and he really knows his stuff!

I hope you are well and weren´t too worn out yesterday!
I just wanted to mail to say thank you so much for the wonderful job you did for us at the wedding on Monday. We couldn´t have asked for better, more appropriate music. I dont think I´ve ever seen all my aunts and uncles last as late into a night - once the DJ starts that´s normally their cue to head towards bed. I never thought when we were planning a wedding in Spain that I´d have to ask the DJ to please play a bad song halfway through the night just so I could sit down and have a rest!! My poor legs didn´t know what hit them.

Thank you so much for making our wedding day so perfect.
We had a ball and so did our 90 guests.The whole day was brilliant from start to finish and most of that was down to you.
You coordinated the evening so well with your singing, choice of music and constant interaction with all our guests.
They are still talking about you now and they all want to know do you travel and can you do gigs in Ireland.
You are a consummate professional and a brilliant entertainer.
We will never be able to thank you enough, but you know how much we appreciated all you did for us on our wedding day.
All we can say is that there will always be a welcome here in Ireland for you and yours.
And hope you're free to do the Anniversary!!

On October 5th you hosted a wedding for Charlie Aabo and Sarah Barnes. I'm the guy they made the toastmaster. I understand "hosted" may be an improper term here, but by US standards, I have a hard time calling you a Dj. I can't tell you how many events I've been to where they've had a so-called "Dj" where they easily could have hired a monkey ... who most likely would have done a far better job!

When I speak of you, I describe you as an entertainer because you know exactly how to work a room that ranges the extremes of age and nationality and you know how to make them happy. Better still, you know how to get them out of their seats and onto the dance floor! Most functions I go to, the dance floor looks as vacant as the expression on Paris Hilton's face. Now, whether that's due to a poor selection of music or the fact that it's played so loud people lose their equilibrium and fear falling over should they dare stand up, I don't know, but I'm thinking it's a fair dose of both. When you were up singing (excellently!) or playing a track, all I could see were smiles and dancing feet. When I was too tired to dance, I found I could hold a conversation without losing my voice ... and we were seated close to you! You even know how to get the hams involved! Though I understand it's a bother when you have to start breaking down the equipment and you have nothing but Dawn of the Drunks stalking you to play "just one more" song, I think it's a testament to how awesome your talents are. I have been to A LOT of functions and I have NEVER seen that happen before. You are nothing short of amazing.

Of course, I can't finish this off without thanking you for making the evening very easy for me, so I thank you. I wish you continued success and every happiness! You're AWESOME!!!

Hi Ian, I hope your well.
Its Erica here from the wedding on the 17th May.I would just like to say a huge "Thank You" for your work on the day of our wedding...I cannot count the amount of people who have commented on how great you made the night. Everybody really enjoyed you and your one of the first things people
comment on when talking about the wedding...
I think it's the only wedding I have been at when people were up dancing before the main course was even served :) , brilliant ha ha!!

Hi Ian,

Sorry it has taken us so long to e-mail you with the honeymoon and everything, but myself and Martin would just like to thank you very very much for all you did on the night of our wedding, it was one of the best nights of our lives, every single one of our guests thought you were brillient, especially our little girl Sara, she is still talking about you giving her the mic. and letting her sing, and her favourate song is Jake the Peg, as soon as we got home we had to get it on CD, all the kids loved it, we have some great pictures of you dancing with the kids and will send them on to you very soon.If we know of any one getting married in Spain in the future we will be sure to give them ur number.
